Trip West 2019

And so it begins...the trip West 2019...

It started with the rock...Moosehead Traveling rock which will go West with us this year. First stop...per usual...Hampton Inn in DuBois, PA. They have upped the game this year...free finger foods, wine, beer or soda on Mondays and Wednesday evenings...Full dinner on Tuesdays Really? Be nice if it was that way all the way west.


From PA through West Virginia/Ohio and on to Kentucky. Pretty much all day drive with coal fired plants viewable in the distance, glimpses of factories along the Ohio river and sign for USS Shenandoah airship debris site. Saw sign for Blenko Glass factory in Milton, WV...would like to take that tour one day. Landed at Ramada Inn in Mt. Sterling, KY
